The Matrix Vietnam eSIM runs on Viettel with 5G and 4G data. There are three plans: 35 GB for 7 days (₹999), 75 GB for 15 days (₹1,149) and 150 GB for 30 days (₹1,999). It is data only, hotspot is allowed, and you get it by email or in the GoMatrix App. KYC is required under Indian DOT guidelines.

  • KYC: required as per DOT guidelines. See the KYC rules page.

Plans and prices

Prices include GST as shown at checkout. They can change, so the Vietnam eSIM page always shows the current price.

Plan Validity Price (including GST) Works out at
35 GB 7 days ₹999 ₹143 a day
75 GB 15 days ₹1,149 ₹77 a day
150 GB 30 days ₹1,999 ₹67 a day

Which plan fits your trip

A week in Hanoi, Da Nang or Ho Chi Minh City: the 35 GB plan for 7 days. It costs ₹999.

Two weeks, or a trip that covers several cities: the 75 GB plan for 15 days. At ₹1,149 it works out cheaper per day than the 7-day plan.

A month or longer, or working remotely: the 150 GB plan for 30 days at ₹1,999.

Three things to know before you buy

  1. Daily limit. A fair usage policy applies: data usage stops after 5 GB in a calendar day, and it starts working again the next day. Plan big downloads and video calls with that in mind.
  2. Buy no earlier than 10 days before you travel. The eSIM must be purchased not more than 10 days before the date you intend to use it.
  3. Complete KYC. It is required before you use the eSIM, so do it before you fly.
