The processing time begins only after the successful submission of the application.

A visa fee of €90 is required and must be paid by the applicant at the time of biometrics.
Business Days:
Visa processing is conducted from Monday to Friday only. Applications submitted on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

Original passport issued within the last 10 years.
Valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended date of departure from France.

Should be free from any alterations or handwritten amendments on the data pages.

Itinerary

A detailed itinerary outlining your travel plans, including the countries you will visit, presented on plain A4 paper. If booked through a travel agent, the itinerary should be on the agent's letterhead.
Confirmed flight reservation from India to France and onward.
Confirmed hotel reservation details for your stay in France.

What should I do if I hold an active France visa on my old passport?

If you have an active France visa in your old passport, you must email the France Embassy for clarification. You may still use the old passport with the active visa until its expiry if the embassy validates it in their response.

When can I apply for a France visa?

You can apply for a France visa as early as 6 months before your planned travel date, but not later than 15 days before your trip.

Can I provide an ITR for just two years instead of three?

While the preferred documentation is an Income Tax Return (ITR) for the last three years, you may provide the ITR for the last two years if necessary.

Is a Schengen visa valid for all Schengen countries?

What are the requirements for the bank statement?

The bank statement must cover the last 6 months and should be stamped and signed by the bank on every page. The statement must be provided on A4 size paper.

When is biometric data required for a Schengen visa?

As of November 2, 2015, all Schengen visa applicants are required to submit biometric data (fingerprints, palm prints, live photos) in person. This can be done at the designated Visa Facilitation Center (VFC) or, in some cases, at the consulate or embassy of the destination country.

Do I need confirmed tickets and bookings before applying for a visa?

No, it is not mandatory to have confirmed flight tickets and hotel bookings before applying for your visa. We can provide hold bookings to facilitate your visa application process. Different price quotes already shown for the same.

How long is biometric data valid for Schengen visa applications?

As per Schengen authorities, biometrics (fingerprints, palm prints, live photos, etc.) are valid for 59 months across all Schengen countries. After your first biometric submission, you will see a VIS (Visa Information System) remark on your visa. However, some countries may still require you to submit biometrics with each new application, regardless of previous submissions or if there were any issues with the biometric data.
