Thailand eSIM FAQs

How much data do I get with the Matrix Thailand eSIM?
Matrix currently offers a 50 GB plan valid for 10 days (₹949) or an Unlimited data plan valid for 10 days (₹999), both running on Thailand's top 4G/5G networks.

Which Thai networks does the Matrix eSIM use?
The Matrix Thailand eSIM connects to multiple leading Thai networks (AIS, DTAC, True) rather than a single partner network, which usually means better coverage in both cities and on the islands.

Do I need to keep my Indian SIM active in Thailand?
Yes - keep your Indian SIM active for OTPs and calls on your Indian number, and let the Matrix eSIM handle your data in Thailand.

Can I use hotspot or tethering on the Thailand eSIM?
Yes, hotspot and tethering are allowed on Matrix Thailand eSIM plans, unlike many operator international roaming packs which restrict it.

How does the Matrix eSIM compare with my Indian carrier's international roaming pack for Thailand?
A typical Indian carrier IR pack costs ₹1,199-₹3,999 for 1-5 GB. The Matrix Thailand eSIM currently starts at ₹949 for 50 GB - more data at a lower cost, with no bill-shock risk since it's fully prepaid.
