Please follow following steps to check your handset compatibility for eSIM:

✅ Dial *#06# and press the call

✅ Can you see your device’s eSIM unique identification number (EID)?

✅ if yes, your phone is eSIM compatible.

An eSIM works by digitally storing your carrier’s profile in your device, eliminating the need for a physical SIM card. It uses the device’s built-in technology to connect you to cellular networks, and you can activate it by scanning a QR code or inputting carrier settings manually.

1. To add an eSIM:

• Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan.
• Scan the QR code provided by your carrier or manually enter the details.
• Once scanned, follow the prompts to activate the eSIM and assign it for data or calling purposes.

1. iPhones can support multiple eSIMs, but only a limited number can be active at a time. For example:

• On iPhone 13 and newer models, you can use up to 2 eSIMs at once (or 1 physical SIM and 1 eSIM for dual-SIM functionality).
• Older models, like iPhone XR and XS, support only 1 eSIM alongside a physical SIM.

1. To transfer an eSIM between iPhones:

• On the old iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data, and remove or deactivate the eSIM.
• On the new iPhone, open Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan, and scan the QR code provided by your carrier.
• You can also check with your carrier for any automatic eSIM transfer options, depending on their services.

Transferring your eSIM to a new iPhone involves a few steps:

• On your old iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data, and choose to delete or transfer the eSIM.
• On your new iPhone, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan, and scan the same QR code provided by your carrier.
• If your carrier supports automatic transfer, they may send the eSIM to your new phone directly after you log into your carrier account.

To activate an eSIM on iPhone:

• Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan.
• Use the camera to scan the QR code provided by your carrier, which will automatically download the eSIM profile.
• Once downloaded, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation, and assign the eSIM as your default for data or calls.

To activate an eSIM, follow these steps:

• Obtain a QR code from your carrier.
• Open Settings > Mobile Data on your device, and select Add Data Plan.
• Scan the QR code, and your phone will download the eSIM profile and activate the plan.
• After activation, you can manage the eSIM from the Mobile Data section in your settings.

Converting from an eSIM to a physical SIM is typically handled by your carrier. You’ll need to:

• Contact your mobile service provider and request a physical SIM.
• They will deactivate the eSIM and provide you with a physical SIM card, which you can insert into your phone.
• Once the physical SIM is inserted, it will automatically connect to your carrier’s network.

To transfer an eSIM between phones, you need to deactivate it from your current device and activate it on the new one. Here are the steps:

• On your current device, go to Settings > Mobile Data and delete or deactivate the eSIM.
• On your new phone, go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add Data Plan and scan the same QR code provided by your carrier.
• If your carrier supports eSIM transfer, they may allow you to do this directly via their app or website. Some carriers require you to contact customer service for reactivation.

Depending upon the plan you buy, the validity will come accordingly.
